Hey guys, Jeff Greco with Eli Crozier. Today we want to talk with you, actually today we are behind 100 Center Street, which is where the Donald Trump trial is underway. In fact, jury selection began yesterday and it is continuing today, probably for the next couple of weeks. But it kind of got me in this mode of thinking that part of the reason why this case has been brought involves hush money to people that he may or may not have slept with. And it's not quite on the same parallel, but I get this question quite a bit. People come up to me, friends or colleagues or people that are in the dating world, especially and say, you know what? I was on a dating app, whether it was Tinder, Bumble, whichever, I don't even know what they all are today. But they obviously, or you just met on a date, right? They just had a date. They match with somebody. They went drinking, they were at a bar, and both parties were intoxicated. Somebody went to either the guy's house or the girl's house or whomever. And they ended up having sex, which, OK, everything's great. They go their separate ways. And then a few days later or the next day, they get either a series of text messages or (phone calls from this other person saying, I don't remember what happened. What did we do? And so this is the question I want to kind of discuss. (What happens if you're in that position? Do you know even how to to handle that? If somebody calls you and says, hey, I have to be completely honest with you. I don't remember any of this. What did we do? And number one, is it a setup? You know, are you potentially on a recorded call? And we'll talk about that in a moment. Or is this something that's just very innocent that they're just saying, I don't really remember? Are you potentially in trouble? Can you potentially face criminal charges if you are the person in this case? Let's say it's the guy that was I don't even know if I'd say the initiator or the aggressor, but the girl calls him or texts him the next day and says, I don't remember what did we do. Can you, you know, fill in those gaps? I mean, what you know, what would you tell somebody if they're in that position and they're in, you know, I guess the day after or two days later and they get the phone call or they get a text message from the person that they hooked up with? How do we how should we tell them to handle the situation? It's a very tough situation because like you said before, you don't really know who's on the other end of that line. Is this someone that you were just dating for the first time? Is this someone who you're in a long-term committed relationship? And forget the person who's on the other line calling you. You don't know who else is in the background. That could be a police officer. That could be a detective, because she may have reported this to the police. So what do you do in that situation? Not talk about what happened. That would be the first bit of advice. I agree not not admit guilt to anything, not apologize for anything. Watch the video to know more.
